Let's look at turning some of your extra time into extra income
Let's look at some methods for providing Extra income to the household.
The Internet is filled with sites telling you that you can have a dollar every time you click your mouse button or send us $39.95 and we will send you the secret that will make you millions. If you have been lured into any of these scams then don't feel ashamed... You're not alone.
I have looked into a few of these so called "answers" and have found that a paper route will generally supply more income per hour worked (Nothing against a paper route) However the reality is that no one is going to pay YOU good money to do something they could employ a member of staff to do for half the price.
Let's look at Income a little closer!
There are three mains types of Income:
1. Earned Income
Earned Income is quite simply an income paid for a service rendered. You go to work, your boss pay's you, you have earned income OR you carry out a service for a person or organisation, they pay you for your service, you have earned an income... So simple wasn't really worth the time... but read on, it gets better...... I promise!
2.
Passive Income
Passive income! Let's first understand exactly what we are talking about, see below the definition according to Dictionary.com
"Passive Income = Earnings an individual derives from a rental property, limited partnership, or other enterprise in which he or she is not actively involved."
The Above definition could not be clearer, so, for a truly passive income buy a rental property and have someone else manage it for you or buy a business and let someone else run it.
Umm... Well... Let's look at some almost passive income streams, being those that require a little effort on your behalf to setup and maybe a little ongoing work to ensure that all is running as it should.
Affiliate marketing is everywhere, every time you see "ads by Google" the advertisements are part of an affiliate program that is rewarding the owner of a website with cash for advertising a "Google Client" product. If you own a website or blog and you have enough traffic to make this profitable then take a look at Google Adsense. Google Adsense is free and easy to set up and once completed the only work that is required of your behalf is to watch your income roll in.
- Write an E-book.
If you can think of a topic that you know enough to write a simple E-book about then do it. It cost you nothing to type a book and without requiring a publisher you can place your book on clickbank, do a little advertising (or set up an affiliate program of your own) and sit back and let other people make you money.
- MLM or Multi Level Marketing.
This form of "Semi Passive" Income should be approached with caution. The benefits that you "may" receive might not be worth the amount of work required or at times the amount of friends lost. I have been involved with an MLM company for a couple of years and after starting a couple of websites and using the above two strategies I have made more in 4 months from the Internet than I have in over 2 years through MLM.
So, As I said at the beginning, The term passive income is not easy to achieve but what I have been calling "Semi Passive" income is well within your grasp right now.
3. Portfolio Income
Portfolio income is recieved from the maturity or earnings of investments held. for example portfolio income may come from interest earned from bank accounts (Savings) Dividends paid from Shares Holdings or Profits made from the sale of Stocks or Bonds.

can't buy you happiness but it does bring you a more pleasant form of
misery."
